Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is motivated to help students learn and grow. In this role, you will assist in classroom activities, provide one-on-one support to students, and contribute to a collaborative educational environment. Responsibilities

• Help create a stimulating learning environment.
• Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Support students in their academic and social development.
• Monitor and record student behaviour and performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Work with parents and external agencies when necessary.
• Engage with students to encourage participation and engagement.
• Support the use of technology in the classroom.
• Implement classroom behaviour management strategies.

Requirements

Education

• A-Level or equivalent qualification
• NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with children in an educational setting is an advantage.
