Job Description

As a Milling Machine Tender, your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain milling machines, ensuring precision in manufacturing. You should possess a solid understanding of milling operations and be able to work autonomously. Your attention to detail is paramount as you'll inspect finished parts to guarantee quality and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and operate milling machines to produce components per specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on finished parts and report discrepancies.
• Maintain machine settings and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize production processes.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in safety training and maintain personal protective equipment.
• Document machine maintenance and production reports.
• Stay up-to-date with milling technologies and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Assist in training new operators when needed.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in machining or related field

Experience

• Experience with CNC milling machines is a plus
