Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our logistics and supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing operations, optimizing inventory, and improving overall productivity while ensuring excellent service levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the supply chain department, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective supply chain strategies.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure optimal stock control.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Utilize data analysis tools to forecast demand and manage supply.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive supply chain risk management plan.
• Lead projects to implement new supply chain technologies and systems.
• Establish processes for monitoring supplier performance and compliance.
• Drive initiatives to enhance customer service via supply chain improvements.
• Engage in training and development programs for team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations
