We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will leverage their analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations that drive quality financial decisions. Your role will involve analysing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with key stakeholders to develop effective financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and report on the financial performance of the organisation.
• Conduct variance analysis to understand discrepancies between budgeted and actual results.
• Aid in financial due diligence for potential acquisitions.
• Implement and maintain financial control measures to mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning.
• Assist in preparing financial materials for board meetings.
• Provide recommendations based on in-depth analysis of financial data.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• CFA or equivalent certification is highly desirable

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a corporate environment
