Job Description

As a Steel Cutter, you will be integral to our manufacturing team, focusing on the precise cutting of steel components for a variety of applications. Your expertise in handling cutting tools and machinery will contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality products to our clients in construction and engineering sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Execute efficient and effective steel cutting processes using a variety of tools.
  • Ensure accurate measurements and follow detailed work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
  • Support the manufacturing team in achieving quality control measures.
  • Participate in safety training and remain compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor cutting equipment performance and adjust settings as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance workflow and productivity.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to overcome cutting challenges.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Vocational training in steel fabrication or related fields
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in large-scale industrial cutting projects

  • City & Guilds in Steel Fabrication
