Job Description

We are looking for a Control Analyst to join our team. This pivotal role involves analysing and monitoring control processes while identifying risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations adhere to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse internal control processes for effectiveness.
  • Communicate findings and improvements to senior management.
  • Assist in the development of risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure robust control frameworks are in place.
  • Design and implement training on control frameworks for new employees.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of compliance regulations.
  • Work on continuous improvement initiatives related to controls.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes on existing control processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, risk management, or equivalent
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISA) are a plus
Experience
  • Experience in the banking sector is preferred.
