Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, also known as a Shingle Catcher, you will play a crucial role on construction sites. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective catching and removal of shingles from conveyor belts. You will collaborate with the roofing team to maintain a smooth workflow and guarantee that all safety protocols are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently catch shingles from the conveyor belt.
• Disposal of shingles in the specified areas.
• Collaborate with the roofing team to ensure project timelines are met.
• Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Keep the work environment neat and orderly.
• Lend support to the roofing team as needed during installation.
• Report any potential failures or hazards to supervisors immediately.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required
• Basic health and safety training preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in construction or laboring is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
