Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Residential Builder to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple residential projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standards. Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple residential building projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project specifications.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, managing costs effectively.
  • Train and mentor junior team members and apprentices.
  • Utilise CAD software for project planning and modification.
  • Conduct regular safety audits on-site.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for construction processes.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers for materials sourcing.
  • Address and resolve any disputes that arise during the construction process.
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Construction or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in residential construction

Certifications
  • CSCS Card or equivalent construction industry certification
  • First Aid at Work certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
