Rig Builder

Job Description

As a Rig Builder, you will play a critical role in assembling and installing drilling rigs. This position entails ensuring the proper functionality and safety of rig components while collaborating with a dedicated team of engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards or safety concerns before, during, and after rig assembly.
• Adhere to project deadlines and communicate any potential delays to management.
• Assist in training junior team members on best practices and safety protocols.
• Implement improvements to enhance rig efficiency and safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in Rig Operations preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in rig building or related roles.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic Systems Knowledge
• Power Tools Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving Abilities
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
