Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Ditching Machine Engineer to operate, maintain, and repair ditching machines used in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and safety of our operations.
Responsibilities
Safely operate ditching machines to ensure timely completion of excavation tasks.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of ditching machines.
Collaborate with engineers to optimize ditching operations.
Document all maintenance work and inspections.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations on-site.
Assist in the training of less experienced operators.
Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
Drive innovation by suggesting improvements for machine efficiency and safety measures.
Conduct risk assessments for machine operation.
Support the project manager in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
Education
Relevant technical or engineering qualification (e.g., apprenticeship, diploma, or degree)
Experience
3-5 years of experience operating and maintaining ditching machines
