Job Description

As a Tar Worker, you'll take on the crucial responsibilities of applying tar to roads and surfaces. This physically demanding role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces prior to tar application by ensuring they are clean and leveled.
• Lay and spread tar using specialized equipment.
• Operate machinery safely, ensuring daily checks are performed.
• Follow safety protocols to mitigate workplace hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.

Requirements

Education

• Valid CSCS Card
• Level 2 NVQ in Road Building or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in roadworks or construction is preferred, but not essential.

Certifications

• Full Driving License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the application of tar to surfaces: Hands-on experience in applying tar effectively and safely.
