Job Description

As a Cyber Defense Technician, you will be at the forefront of our cybersecurity efforts, responsible for monitoring systems and protecting sensitive information. We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for security and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee security monitoring tools and systems.
  • Engage in threat hunting and active incident response.
  • Configure and manage firewalls and other security appliances.
  • Develop training materials related to cybersecurity awareness.
  • Participate in the development of disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years working in the IT security domain
Technical Skills
  • Penetration Testing
  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving
  • Adaptability
Certifications
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • CISSP
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Knowledge in threat intelligence: Experience in utilising threat intelligence platforms for proactive threat management.
  • Scripting skills in Python or Bash: Ability to automate tasks and enhance security operations with scripting.
