Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Compliance Officer with expertise in regulatory compliance and quality assurance to join our team in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to pharmacy regulations and promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly review pharmacy operations to identify areas for improvement in compliance.
  • Prepare and present compliance metrics to management.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and healthcare professionals.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies that enhance compliance monitoring.
  • Participate in external audits and address any findings or recommendations.
  • Provide expert knowledge on pharmacy law and ethical practices.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and safety within the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a definite advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, preferably in pharmacy
