Job Description

The Park Recreation Manager will be responsible for managing recreational activities and facilities within the park. This role includes developing programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading a team of recreation staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of recreation coordinators, activity leaders, and volunteer coordinators.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of park programs and make improvements as needed.
  • Engage with visitors to enhance their experience and ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor park facilities and equipment to ensure safety and usability.
  • Assist in marketing park programmes and events to the community.
  • Develop partnerships with schools and organisations for collaborative events.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
