Job Description

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. You will manage service schedules, assist customers with inquiries, and ensure a seamless service experience. A strong understanding of automotive systems and excellent communication skills are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and evaluate their automotive service needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments effectively.
  • Communicate with customers about service progress and updates.
  • Provide detailed repair estimates and follow up on authorizations.
  • Work closely with the workshop team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Document service orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Upsell services and assist in customer education about vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure a clean and organized service area.
  • Participate in staff training and development sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
