Job Description

As a Horizontal Drill Operator, you will oversee the operation of drilling equipment to bore horizontal holes in designated areas. You will ensure equipment functionality, maintain strict adherence to safety standards, and collaborate effectively with your team for successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute horizontal drilling activities per project specifications.
• Perform pre-operational checks on all drilling equipment.
• Work collaboratively with geotechnical teams to assess site conditions.
• Enforce safety protocols and practices on-site.
• Contribute to team meetings to discuss operational challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in drilling or heavy equipment operation is preferred

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in drilling operations

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of geology and soil conditions

Certifications

• First Aid/CPR certification

Languages
