Bench Shear Operator

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Bench Shear Operator to play a key role in our manufacturing operations. You will operate and maintain bench shears, read and interpret technical drawings, and adjust settings to ensure optimal performance. Your attention to detail and precision will help us meet production targets while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and set up bench shears for optimal performance.
• Monitor production output and adjust processes to increase efficiency.
• Train new staff on safe operating procedures for bench shears.
• Prepare reports on production activities and machine performance.
• Implement continuous improvements to the cutting process.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bench Shear Operator or similar role in the metal fabrication industry.
