Job Description

We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support our financial analysis and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage statistical models and data analysis techniques to inform business decisions and contribute to financial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights.
• Create and maintain reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators.
• Work with actuarial software to model and assess financial risks.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with actuarial teams on specific projects and initiatives.
• Review and validate the accuracy of data and calculations.
• Assist in the production of financial statements and forecasts.
• Conduct peer reviews of analytical reports and models.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the actuarial function.
• Provide support during external audits and regulatory reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Financial modelling
• Risk assessment techniques

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Presentational skills

Certifications

• Certified Actuarial Analyst (CAA)
• Other relevant certifications are a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python): Hands-on experience with programming for data analysis.
