Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General Practitioner to work in our Edinburgh practice. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of health issues, providing preventive care, and building rapport with patients to ensure their health needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat various medical conditions.
• Maintain health records and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about health issues and preventive measures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
• Manage chronic disease populations and coordinate care.
• Foster strong patient relationships through compassionate care.

Requirements

Education

• MBBS or equivalent
• Further studies in Family Medicine or Primary Care preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a busy practice environment

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Knowledge of chronic illness management

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• MRCGP Qualification
• Advanced Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
