Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Production Line Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Derry. The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure the production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line workflows and team performance.
• Ensure all safety and quality control measures are implemented effectively.
• Report on production metrics to senior management.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve company goals.
• Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for production.
• Adopt new technologies to enhance production processes.
• Evaluate and improve production processes for greater efficiency.
• Lead by example to inspire and motivate the production team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Production Management
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a production management role

• Production Planning

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification
• IOSH Managing Safely

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with robotics in manufacturing: Hands-on experience in integrating robotics into production lines.
• Familiarity with ISO standards: Knowledge of ISO standards applicable to manufacturing processes.
