Job Description

The Piano Case and Bench Assembler will play a vital role in assembling and installing high-quality piano cases and benches. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work precisely with woodworking tools. As an assembler, you will ensure that each product meets our established quality standards and is delivered on time to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Cut and shape wood components with precision using both hand and power tools.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline assembly methods and reduce waste.
  • Perform detailed sanding and finishing of piano components to achieve a flawless surface.
  • Apply finishing materials using various techniques, ensuring a consistent and smooth finish.
  • Check completed items against quality standards and rectify any defects.
  • Maintain an organised workspace to support efficiency and safety.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels of materials and tools required for assembly.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality and safety within the team.
  • Engage in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge in woodworking.
