Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and other modalities.
  • Prepare patients for radiological examinations, ensuring their comfort.
  • Evaluate images for quality, ensuring completeness of procedure.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to determine examination specifics.
  • Document all patient interactions and imaging performed diligently.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols regarding radiation exposure.
  • Continuously update knowledge on advancements in radiology.
  • Mentor and train new staff in radiographic procedures and equipment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy-making.
  • Assist in managing inventory and supplies for the radiology department.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Additional certifications in specialized radiography techniques are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical radiology setting
