We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare administration team in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent typing and listening skills, ensuring accurate documentation of medical records. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to transcribe dictated reports and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize transcription software to create accurate medical documentation.
• Support administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow improvements.
• Address feedback from healthcare providers regarding transcriptions.
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and report issues as necessary.
• Assist with database updates and management of patient records.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
• Maintain familiarity with the latest medical transcription technology.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Medical Transcription or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in medical transcription preferred
