Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Batch Maker to join our team. The Batch Maker will be responsible for accurately measuring and combining ingredients according to company recipes and guidelines. The successful candidate will ensure the quality and consistency of the products while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and operation of blending and mixing machinery.
  • Regularly check equipment for proper working order and report any issues.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials and final products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of ingredients used in batches.
  • Support training of new staff in batch-making processes.
  • Implement improvements to enhance production efficiency and safety.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Work towards achieving production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
  • Keep detailed records of production activities for traceability.

Requirements

Education
  • No specific qualifications required, but relevant certifications in food production are advantageous.
Experience
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry is preferred.
