Job Description

As an Inclusion Teacher, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all students can fully engage in their education and reach their full potential. This requires a blend of compassion, patience, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support classroom teachers in adapting lesson plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Conduct assessments to determine individual learning abilities and needs.
  • Facilitate workshops for parents and guardians on how to support students with SEND.
  • Monitor and review student progress regularly and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and learning for all.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education
  • Master's degree in Special Education is preferred.
Experience
  • Understanding of SEND legislation and the Code of Practice.
