Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at ABC Educational Center. In this role, you will be responsible for providing tailored educational experiences for young children with special needs, ensuring each child's unique learning requirements are met in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students with special needs.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies that support learning and development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining comprehensive records.
  • Create and adapt learning materials to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Collaborate with therapists and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies.
  • Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training activities.
  • Promote inclusive practices within the school community.
  • Conduct outreach with local community resources to support families.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a kindergarten setting.
