Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to work with animals? We are hiring an Animal Technician in Crewe who will be responsible for supporting veterinary staff and providing compassionate care to our beloved animals.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary staff with routine examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Monitor animal health and report any changes to the veterinary team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the clinic and animal areas.
• Provide compassionate care and attention to all animals.
• Assist in the training of new staff and students.

Requirements

Education

• Level 3 Diploma in Animal Care or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in an animal care or veterinary setting is preferred.

Certifications

• Animal Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a clinical or shelter setting: Hands-on experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter.
• Knowledge of animal behaviour: Understanding of animal behaviour and communication.
