Job Description

As a Computer User Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of our computer systems. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring the security and integrity of data.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to users experiencing PC issues.
  • Document and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions.
  • Create training materials and user documentation.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in PC management.
  • Perform regular backups and data recovery procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees in setting up their PCs.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in PC hardware/software is desirable (e.g., CompTIA A+)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in PC systems coordination or similar role is desirable.
