Job Description
We are searching for a hardworking Solar Photovoltaic Electrician to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems across various settings, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair solar systems to ensure peak performance.
  • Perform regular audits and safety checks on solar installations.
  • Educate clients on the functionality and benefits of solar PV systems.
  • Document and report findings from inspections and repairs.
  • Work in line with health and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Assist in training junior electricians and apprentices.
  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure efficient project completion.
Job Requirements
  • City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Recognized Solar Photovoltaic qualification (e.g., City and Guilds 2399)
  • Electrical wiring and circuitry Proficient in electrical wiring and installation practices.
  • Solar PV system installation Experienced in installing and commissioning solar PV systems.
  • Problem-solving abilities Exceptional skills in diagnosing and solving electrical issues.
  • Communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Certification in electrical safety (e.g., ECS card)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in battery storage systems: Familiarity with the installation and maintenance of energy storage systems.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy incentives and grants: Understanding of financial incentives available for solar installations.
