Food Safety Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Food Safety Coordinator to oversee compliance with food safety regulations in our Telford facility. The ideal candidate will implement and maintain food safety standards, conduct regular inspections, and foster a culture of safety within the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous compliance with health and safety standards.
• Facilitate regular safety assessments and audits.
• Report food safety issues to the management promptly.
• Enhance staff awareness of food safety protocols.
• Participate in food safety committees and initiatives.
• Manage documentation and record-keeping for food safety programs.
• Assist in product recalls if necessary.
• Work with suppliers to ensure quality and safety of materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Technology, or related field
• Postgraduate certification in Food Safety or related qualifications preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in food safety compliance roles
