Steam Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steam Press Operator to join our team. As a Steam Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining steam press machines to press garments and other fabrics to perfection.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate steam press machines for efficient operation.
• Monitor the pressing process to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
• Train junior operators on the correct operation of steam press equipment.
• Support the production team in achieving weekly output targets.
• Document production data and report discrepancies to management.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure operational reliability.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pressing efficiency.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workplace.
• Assist in inventory management of pressing materials and chemicals.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to address production challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications or training in garment pressing or textile manufacturing would be advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a textile manufacturing environment.
