Job Description

Join our team as a Wool Fleece Sorter where you’ll be responsible for the careful sorting and classification of wool fleeces based on their quality and grade. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable about different wool types.

Responsibilities

• Classify wool fleeces by grading and quality.
• Ensure the removal of foreign materials from the wool.
• Monitor the sorting process for compliance with quality standards.
• Record details of sorted wool for tracking and inventory purposes.
• Keep the sorting area tidy and adhere to safety practices.
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve production goals.
• Handle and maintain the equipment needed for fleece sorting.
• Assist in conducting quality checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Support other team members with general wool-processing tasks.
• Engage in training sessions to improve sorting techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Knowledge of different wool types and grades preferred

Experience

• Experience in wool processing or similar industry advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent
