Job Description

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our thriving team in Cambridge. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive user engagement across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement social media content calendars to ensure a steady flow of content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of social media advertising and adjust spending as necessary.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on best practices.
  • Respond to customer feedback and inquiries promptly.
  • Create regular reports to present to management on social media performance.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for graphic design and content creation.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions related to social media.
  • Manage crisis communications through social media channels effectively.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with media contacts.
  • Stay informed on changes to social media algorithms affecting reach and engagement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing role with a focus on social media
