Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimise our supply chain operations in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of goods, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate inventory records, all while working within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct logistics from procurement to delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Identify potential supply chain improvements and implement solutions.
  • Monitor transport costs and develop cost-effective shipping strategies.
  • Prepare and analyse logistics reports to enhance overall service quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align logistics with business objectives.
  • Participate in negotiations with transport providers to secure best rates.
  • Organise training sessions for staff on logistics procedures and policies.
  • Track and report on KPIs related to logistics efficiency and delivery performance.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new logistics technologies and systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
  • Master's degree or further qualifications in Supply Chain Management is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles
