Job Description

The Concrete Finishing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing concrete finishing operations at various construction sites. In this role, you will ensure the quality of concrete work, supervise the finishing team, and adhere to safety regulations. Your leadership will guide the team in delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining project schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of concrete finishers to achieve high-quality results.
  • Perform regular inspections of work completed by the finishing team.
  • Ensure that all work is completed safely and on time.
  • Assist in training new team members in concrete finishing techniques.
  • Collaborate with other construction teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Evaluate the performance of team members and provide feedback.
  • Take corrective actions as necessary to maintain project standards.
  • Keep accurate records of project work and schedules.
  • Facilitate communication between the finishing team and upper management.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certification or training in construction management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in concrete finishing
