Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ground Worker to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various construction and maintenance tasks, including digging trenches, laying foundations, and installing drainage systems. If you are physically fit and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Carry out groundworks activities including levelling and drainage installations.
• Assist in constructing foundations and other related structures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Operate various tools and machinery safely.
• Maintain and repair existing groundwork as required.
• Contribute to site cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members.

Requirements

Education

• Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
• NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks or equivalent qualification

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in groundworks or a related construction role is required.
