Job Description

Seeking an Urban Planner who is passionate about Telecommunications Engineering to help develop and enhance urban spaces in Salisbury. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead urban planning projects from conception to completion, focusing on telecommunications solutions.
  • Analyze existing urban telecom networks to identify upgrade needs and potential expansions.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to promote transparency and collaboration.
  • Research best practices in sustainable urban planning and telecommunications.
  • Present findings and proposals to senior management and local councils.
  • Draft and review technical specifications for telecommunications installations.
  • Support environmental assessments related to urban planning projects.
  • Promote the use of new technologies in urban infrastructure development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
  • Master's in Sustainable Development is advantageous
