Job Description

As a Loan Teller at XYZ Bank, you will assist customers throughout the loan application process, handle transactions efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service. You will primarily evaluate loan applications and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to walk-in customers and assist them with their loan inquiries.
  • Prepare and process documentation for loan approvals.
  • Work closely with loan processors to expedite loan processing.
  • Ensure all loan files are updated and maintained accurately.
  • Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Identify potential cross-selling opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to policies.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace for customer interactions.
  • Review loan files for accuracy before submission to the underwriting department.
  • Engage in self-improvement efforts by attending workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Additional certifications in banking or finance are recommended.
Experience
  • Prior experience in a customer service or banking role is preferred.
