Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Public Health Advisor to oversee and implement health initiatives in Middlesbrough. This role involves collaborating with local agencies, analysing health data, and developing strategies to promote community health and prevent diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee health promotion campaigns addressing community health priorities.
  • Collect and interpret health data from various sources to inform policy.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to implement health strategies.
  • Conduct outreach to diverse populations to ensure equitable health access.
  • Assist in the development of public health policies and guidelines.
  • Foster partnerships with community organisations to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide health-related guidance and support to the public.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology or related field preferred

  • 3+ years in public health roles with a community focus
