Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Glasgow. This role is essential for ensuring our IT systems run smoothly and efficiently, providing top-notch support to our users. The successful candidate will tackle a variety of technical issues, from hardware malfunctions to software breakdowns, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair IT equipment including computers and peripherals.
  • Assist in network administration and security protocols.
  • Keep detailed records of user issues and resolutions.
  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives to enhance services.

Requirements

Education
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Advanced IT certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in IT support
