A Hand Alterations Tailor is responsible for providing high-quality customized alterations to garments using hand sewing techniques. They will work closely with clients to ensure precise measurements and perform alterations as per the customer's specifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilise expert sewing techniques to alter garments according to client specifications.
• Conduct fittings and communicate tailoring options to clients.
• Inspect fabrics and garment construction to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in fabric selection and provide recommendations based on garment type.
• Mentor junior tailors and share best practices in garment alterations.
• Maintain sewing equipment and tools for optimal performance.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow and improvement strategies.
