Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver to join our team in Birmingham. You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular maintenance checks on trucks to ensure their safety and reliability.
• Work collaboratively with other drivers and staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and efficiency.
• Resolve client issues related to transportation in a professional manner.
• Contribute to improving driving practices within the team.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a truck driver

Technical Skills

• GPS navigation
• Heavy vehicle operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in long-haul driving: Experience in driving long distances is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Additional driving certifications: Possession of other relevant driving certifications is an advantage.
