Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Locomotive Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining locomotive systems. The ideal candidate will bring experience in engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative locomotive systems and components.
• Conduct analysis and simulations to improve performance.
• Lead testing and validation phases of engineering projects.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure optimal production.
• Document project changes and maintain records of engineering modifications.
• Train and mentor new engineers and coordinating teams.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Ensure project milestones are met within time and budget constraints.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in locomotive engineering

• SolidWorks

Certifications

• Professional Engineering License

Languages

• English: Fluent
