Production Machine Tender

Job Description

The Production Machine Tender is responsible for setting up and operating machinery used in our manufacturing processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in machine operation and a solid understanding of production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and monitor their performance throughout production runs.
• Ensure machinery is maintained and cleaned to avoid malfunctions.
• Perform quality assurance checks on products and materials.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to improve workflows.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and making necessary adjustments.
• Keep accurate records of production output and machine maintenance.
• Work effectively within a team to meet production goals.
• Participate in regular safety training and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Technical Skills

• Machinery Maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Understanding of lean principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills: Ability to use computer software for production reporting and documentation.
