Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reed or Wind Instrument Repairer to join our dedicated team. Your role will involve diagnosing and fixing issues with various reed and wind musical instruments. This position requires a deep understanding of musical instruments and precision in repair work.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose problems with instruments, including keywork, valves, pads, and springs.
• Perform soldering, brazing, and other necessary techniques for repairs.
• Communicate clearly with clients about repair options and estimates.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in instrument repair.
• Work closely with other repair technicians to enhance processes.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certifications or training courses in instrument repair

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in reed or wind instrument repair

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Instrument Mechanics

Languages
