Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Machine Operator and Tender to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with shoe machinery and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for operation by setting up, calibrating, and testing equipment.
• Quality control by inspecting products for defects and ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with machinery during the production process.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of shoe manufacturing equipment.
• Work closely with the production team to meet production goals.
• Document production activities accurately for inventory and process tracking.
• Participate in safety training and promote a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any necessary repairs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in manufacturing technology or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in shoe manufacturing or similar fields

Technical Skills

• Machine Maintenance
• Blueprint Reading

Advantageous

• Certifications in footwear production: Relevant certifications that validate skills in shoe manufacturing.
