We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning. In this role, you'll work closely with various departments to analyse financial data, provide insights, and support decision-making processes to drive business performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement financial analysis frameworks.
• Prepare and analyse balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist in strategic planning and financial modeling.
• Support the finance team in financial audits and compliance.
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders to review financial plan.
• Conduct market research and analysis relevant to financial services.
• Monitor and report on financial risks.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects requiring financial insight.
• Develop insights from data to inform business planning.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis or similar role

• Financial Reporting

Certifications

• ACCA or similar certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the finance sector: Previous experience working within a financial institution is preferred.
