Job Description

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients in their rehabilitation journey. Working alongside licensed Occupational Therapists, you will assist in implementing treatment plans, ensuring patients receive compassionate and effective care.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Occupational Therapy team to implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide direct support in patient care and rehabilitation.
  • Evaluate and record patient progress, adjusting methods as needed.
  • Educate families on therapeutic activities to aid in recovery.
  • Assist in administrative duties related to patient care.
  • Ensure that the therapy environment is organized and equipped.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Qualified with a degree in Occupational Therapy or similar
  • Further certifications in therapeutic techniques preferred
Experience
  • At least two years of experience in a relevant role
