Job Description

As a Telecommunications Equipment Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining cable TV systems in both residential and commercial buildings. You will ensure optimal signal reception and address any technology-related issues that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation of telecommunications equipment in accordance with technical directives.
  • Diagnose signal issues and implement necessary repairs.
  • Ensure that all installations meet regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Engage professionally with customers to address their queries and concerns.
  • Educate clients on using their new cable TV systems effectively.
  • Accurately document all service actions and updates in operational logs.
  • Follow safety practices while on-site, particularly in challenging environments.
  • Work with team members to enhance installation techniques and practices.
  • Remain informed on new technologies impacting the telecommunications sector.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certifications in telecommunications are advantageous
Experience
  • Previous experience in cable installation or related field is preferred
