Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Leeds. This role involves providing comprehensive technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal performance of IT systems. Ideal candidates should possess a strong foundation in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user requests for assistance and support in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose IT-related problems, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain and configure hardware, such as workstations, printers, and network devices.
  • Ensure security compliance of IT systems and user accounts.
  • Provide insights on improving IT processes and user experience.
  • Assist in the deployment of upgrades and new technologies across the organisation.
  • Coordinate with other IT personnel to solve complex issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support
